It is the desiccated bark deprived of most of its epidermal layer from Cinnamomum zeylanicum, Breyne; Cinnamomum cassia, Blume, and other allied species. Genus of wide distribution along the coasts of Asia and islands of the Indian Ocean. The main exporting countries of the “zeylanicum” variety are Sri Lanka and Madagascar. As for the "cassia" variety, we have the one from Vietnam.
