Being old rugs they have already been used, however they are still exceptional jewels.
Carpets were invented in the Caucasus area by nomadic peoples who had to keep their homes both portable and sturdy. In addition, the raw material (wool) had to be able to accompany them on their travels. These migratory populations distributed their knotted artworks over a wide space around Central Asia.
A rug for life:
An authentic oriental rug will become a family heirloom. A few hundred years of domestic use is natural.
