The mixture of laurel and olive oil is what gives it its noble color and especially its smell.
Made using the ancient technique of the famous Aleppo soaps. It breaks down into small pieces, and is recompressed again by kneading it using wet steam, finally allowed to dry.
This is the reason for its unique shape and color.
